This is Aether version 1.0 final. If you are running a beta version of Aether, it will expire as of the end of February 2008, and you will need to upgrade to the final release to continue using Aether. Also please note that Aether now requires registration to be used with logs containing more than 30 QSOs. If you provided feedback about the Aether beta you should have received an email with instructions for receiving a discount on Aether. If you provided feedback but did not receive such an email, please contact me at support@aetherlog.com . If you would like to purchase Aether, please select "Purchase Aether" from the Aether menu. Thank you!
New Features and Improvements
- Default values can now be carried forward for RX RST and QSL Via fields.
- All new icons and a new UI.
- Added a Google Maps button to the toolbar.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused a "formatting error" when deleting latitude or longitude values.
- The time field now properly displays a focus ring when it is selected.
- Fixed several callsign prefixes for which the wrong country was displayed.
- Fixed a crash that occurred when setting up cocoaModem integration on a non-administrator OS X user account.
- The zip field in the Station Info panel is now wide enough to accommodate Canadian postal codes as well as 5-4 US zip codes.
Known Issues
- Power setting is not read from most Yaesu rigs. This is because most Yaesu rigs do not support reading this data over the CAT connection. The power field will be hidden for these Yaesu rigs in a future update.
- VoiceOver will not read the time field's value. This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future update.
